"Two fires started in Crewe last night were deliberate", says firefighters

Police have been informed due to the deliberate nature of the incidents

Firefighters were called to extinguish two fires in Crewe last night.

Crews were called to Frank Webb Avenue at about 8.20pm.

The first fire involved cut grass and a second fire was discovered nearby.

Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service say,

"The crew used a water backpack to extinguish both fires.

"Police were informed due to the deliberate nature of the incidents.

There's been no further update from the service.
