A 46-year-old man, who was arrested following the death of another man in Stoke-on-Trent, has been detained under the Mental Health Act.

Officers rushed to a house in Trent Vale on Monday (13 March, to reports of a disturbance.

A 38-year-old man was found seriously injured and died a short time later.

His death is currently being treated as suspicious.

Police have said, at this time, they are not looking for anyone else in connection to the investigation.
