Manchester derby given earlier kick off as clubs see fixture times changed

United and City have seen several kick off times changed for the upcoming season as the Premier League announces its televised games.

City's opening day game against Sunderland on 13 August - the date remains the same but the match now will start at 5.30pm on Saturday evening for a BT Sport showing.

Next up is the Blues' trip to Stoke City the following weekend (20 August) - this game will now begin at 12,30pm and will be shown on Sky.

City's third match in - a home clash with West Ham United - has now moved from Saturday 27 August to Sunday 28 August with a kick-off time of 4pm for Sky coverage.

Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola's first Manchester derby which takes place at Old Trafford will now kick-off earlier on 10 September with a 12.30pm start.

The Reds’ opening game of the season away to Bournemouth will be played on Sunday 14 August, with kick-off at 13:30.

Other changes for the Reds include the games away at Watford Sunday 18th September – which kicks off at 12:00 while on Saturday 24th September United host Leicester at 12.30.

The home clash with Southampton will take place on Friday 19th August at 8pm while the Reds game away at Hull is now scheduled for Saturday 27 August at 5.30opm.

In addition, United’s game against Crystal Palace has been moved from Tuesday 13 December to Wednesday 14 December for an 8pm kick off.

There are likely to be more changes announced for both United and City when the October and November schedules are revealed in the coming months.
