Laura Trott says she'd like to have children but 'not before the next Olympics'
Laura Trott and Jason Kenny were interviewed on TV this morning.
Olympic gold medalist Laura Trott and her fiancé Jason Kenny appeared on Good Morning Britain this morning to talk about their success in Rio and plans for the future.
The pair who have been engaged for two years have won 10 Olympic gold medals between them, including five this year.
"We haven't got a date yet," Laura replied, "I mean Rio was such a huge part of our lives for such a long time that it was just about getting that hurdle out the way first."
She went on to confirm that she would take Jason's surname when they get married.
When the subject of kids came up she said, "not before the next Olympics.
"We would like kids obviously but when that happens I don't know."
The gold medalist continued, "I think it would be hard to juggle a cycling career with a child to be totally honest."
The pair, who have pet dogs, said that they would like to go on a long honeymoon in a campervan so they can take their dogs with them.
Team GB have now arrived back in the UK following their most successful Olympics yet, being placed second in the medal table.
