Woman knocked unconscious by man during Sheffield robbery
She remains in a serious condition in hospital
Police have launched an appeal for witnesses after a robbery in Sheffield, during which a woman was knocked unconscious.
The 77 year old woman was attacked by a man as she walked on Shiregreen Lane, near to the Concord Sports Centre, at 10:55am on Tuesday (November 5)
The suspect took her bag and fled the scene.
it was later found discarded nearby, with cash and a bank card stolen.
The victim was knocked out and is currently in a serious condition in hospital.
Investigations are continuing and police are appealing for anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage taken in the area at the time to get in touch.
