Shocking video footage has been released showing two teenagers laughing and joking with each other, just moments after stabbing a stranger in Sheffield city centre last year.

Ramaray Treasure, of Tansley Street, Sheffield, and Leon Sykes, of Victoria Street in Stocksbridge, were both jailed for a combined 25 years for attempted murder last week.

The pair were arrested just moments after a brutal and random attack on a man on West Street during the early hours of March 9 2024.

He was stabbed multiple times, but was saved by the intervention of a member of the public.

The attack was caught on CCTV, with Treasure and Sykes being tracked through Sheffield City Centre following what happened.

Officers were quickly able to trace them down, with 18 year old Treasure throwing the knife away as soon as he saw officers approach with tasers drawn.

The pair were sentenced last week at Sheffield Crown Court.
