Sheffield Eagles sign York Knights winger Joe Brown on two year deal
The 26 year old will join the South Yorkshire side from the start of next season
Sheffield Eagles have confirmed yet another signing ahead of the 2026 Championship season, with York Knights winger Joe Brown agreeing to a two year deal.
He's spent the last four years with the North Yorkshire side and has also spent time with Wigan Warriors and Bradford Bulls.
Brown is coming off the back of his highest scoring season to date, having contributed 19 tries in 32 games.
Speaking to the Eagles website, Brown said, “I’m really excited to be joining. As soon as I spoke to (Craig Lingard), he got me excited, and I can’t wait to be back enjoying my rugby again.
“I’ve got lots of happy memories from my time at York, but I feel now is the right time to try something different. I’m ready for a new challenge, and this one I’m really looking forward to.”
