Road closure remains following reports of suspicious items in Sheffield

Investigations continue by South Yorkshire Police after a road in Sheffield was shut yesterday (Aug 10).

It follows reports of suspicious items being found in a property in Gervase Avenue in Lowedges.

In a statement sent to us this morning, South Yorkshire Police said: "The road closures remain in place today, and we are expecting them to in place until tomorrow (Monday).

"We will be looking to issue and update on our channels once we have one."
