Police appeal launched after conductor assaulted on Sheffield tram
The conductor was slapped by a woman who didn't pay for her fare
Police have launched an appeal to trace a woman who allegedly assaulted a conductor aboard a tram in Sheffield.
It happened at 4:39pm on October 8 abroad the Supertram service to Middlewood.
The conductor was slapped by a woman, who then left the service without paying the fare.
Officers have now released images of a woman they're trying to trace.
She is described as white, between 30 and 40 years old, of a medium build, and with shoulder-length brown hair.
Anyone with information is being urged to contact South Yorkshire Police on 101.
