A pensioner has died in hospital after being hit by a car in Rotherham while riding his mobility scooter.
The 70-year-old man was taken to hospital from Magna Lane in Dalton on Saturday morning (June 15) following the collision which also involved a red Mercedes.
The driver of the car, a woman, got out, and is helping police with their investigation.
Detectives are now asking to speak to possible witnesses and are asking for anyone with information to come forward.
