Man charged with assaulting emergency workers in Sheffield

A man has been charged with assaulting emergency workers in Sheffield yesterday morning.
Police were called to the Southey Green area of the city at around 5.30am.
Joseph Thompson, 37, of Bowfield Road, was arrested and later charged.
He has been released on bail ahead of an appearance at Sheffield Magistrates' Court on January 13 next year.
