Police uncover swords, knives and air guns in Doncaster 'weapons stash'

A man has been charged with a range of offences after a 'huge stash' of weapons was uncovered by police at a home in Doncaster.

3\8 knives, five swords, a crossbow and 16 air weapons, has been recovered and seized following the raid in Thorne last Tuesday (December 3).

A can of CS gas, a stun device, two knuckledusters, several batons and three throwing stars were also recovered.

A 38-year-old man was arrested at the property and has since been charged with possession of a firearm without a certificate, possessing a weapon for the discharge of a noxious liquid and possession of ammunition for a firearm without a certificate.

He appeared before Doncaster Magistrates' Court last week.
