Yorkshire Wildlife Park have unveiled their latest arrivals; four tiny bush dog pups.

The two boys and two girls were born to parents Belle and Gaston and are now getting used to the Doncaster attraction's Atlantic Forest Reserve.

Bush dogs are native to Central and South America and are considered 'near threatened'.

They live in dense forests and are so uncommon in the wild that they were once considered an extinct species.

It's thought their numbers have gone down by around a quarter over the past 12 years, mostly due to deforestation in the Amazon.

Keepers in Yorkshire are hoping the new arrivals will boost conservation efforts and their overall understanding of the species.

Yorkshire Wildlife Park, located in Branton, is currently home to around 500 animals from 100 different species; including big cats and polar bears.
