Van crashes into house after careering off dual carriageway

A van has crashed into the side of a house in Chichester causing “extensive damage”.
The vehicle careered off the A27 near the Stockbridge roundabout on Sunday morning.
It ploughed through a fence and hit the side of the property in Waterside Drive, damaging gas and electric meter boxes.
A gas engineer was called to the scene.
No one was injured.
The driver was questioned and reported for several offences, police said.
