Up to 20,000 homes and businesses across parts of Hampshire have running water once more.

Taps ran dry in parts of Southampton, Eastleigh, Chandlers Ford, and Winchester on Wednesday morning due to burst pipes following the cold snap.

Four bottled water stations were set up as a result.

Southern Water says some households may still have low pressure but it won't last long.

In a statement, Southern Water said: "The majority of South Hampshire should now have water supplies back.

"If you haven’t, please call us on 0330 303 0368.

"You may still have low pressure. This is normal and is only temporary."
