Two teenagers suffer life-threatening injuries in moped crash
The collision happened in Southsea on Monday night
Two teenage boys have suffered life-threatening injuries in a moped crash in Portsmouth.
Police said a moped rider failed to stop for officers in Somers Road in Somerstown at 11.50pm on Monday.
The white Honda moped continued along Margate Road, Victoria Road North and Victoria Road South, police said.
It was then involved in a collision with a BMW at the junction of Richmond Road and Clarendon Road in Southsea.
Police said the teenagers were taken to hospital with "serious and life-threatening injuries".
Hampshire Police has referred itself to the Independent Office for Police Conduct.
