Southampton boss Russell Martin will face his former club Swansea City in the third round of the FA Cup.

Saints, Bournemouth and Portsmouth, who all enter the competition at this stage, found out their opponents in the draw, conducted last night (Monday 2nd).

Martin managed the Swans between 2021 and 2023 before leaving to take charge at St Mary's.

Saints, who famously won the tournament in 1976, are looking to make their first appearance at Wembley since 2021, when they made the semi-finals.

Elsewhere, Bournemouth also face home tie against Championship opposition, with West Bromwich Albion heading to the Vitality to take on Andoni Iraola's Cherries.

Three-time tournament winners Pompey have been drawn away to Wycombe Wanderers of League One.

They last won the cup in 2008, before reaching the final again two years later in 2010.

The matches will be held across the weekend of 11-12 January 2025.
