Saints have launched their third kit and it's inspired by Southampton's links to the RAF as home of the Spitfire.

Created in partnership with hummel, the dark green and black shirt features a subtle detail design, taking reference from propellor blades.

Launched under the campaign, Bold is Brave, the club is celebrating bravery both on and off the pitch.

The shirt features four stripes on either side of the shirt, in yellow, white, red and blue, taking inspiration from the RAF Roundel.

The kit is matched with dark green shorts and green and black socks.

The socks also feature the four stripes inspired by the RAF Roundel.

Third kit

“We’re delighted to launch our third kit, with this shirt, we wanted to give a nod to our city’s connections to the RAF. Working with hummel has allowed us to be creative and celebrate that in the design of the shirt,” says Sarah Batters, Director of Marketing & Partnerships for Southampton Football Club.

The club is fully committed to creating a positive impact on the environment, as part of its dedicated sustainability strategy, The Halo Effect. Therefore, like last season, this season’s kit has been produced using Eco8 material made from fabric created using recycled plastic bottles.

As with the home and away kit launch, Southampton Football Club will be releasing its third football shirt as an NFT. One football fan will be able to own the original digital design of the kit, combined with the first physical shirt off the production line. All three NFTs are now available on Opensea to bid on and the auction will conclude in August.
