Renewed appeal for witnesses to Bournemouth hit and run
A man was left with life-changing injuries in the incident on Monday (7th October)
Detectives in Bournemouth are renewing their appeal for information into a hit and run incident, which left a man with life-changing injuries.
The victim was struck by a Range Rover in Etches Close, at the junction with Western Avenue, in the Northbourne area at around 10.10pm on Monday (7th October).
The people within the vehicle fled the scene afterwards.
The injured man - who's in his 20s and from Christchurch - had to be airlifted to hospital.
Two men, aged 20 and 54 and from Bournemouth, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and driving offences and remain in police custody.
They are both known to the victim.
Detective Chief Inspector Andy Bell, of BCP CID, said:
“We are continuing to carry out extensive enquiries into the circumstances of this incident and we would urge anyone with information that might assist our investigation to please come forward.
“We are aware that there may be footage of this incident that is circulating within the community. I would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to police as well as anyone who might have captured any relevant footage on home CCTV, doorbell cameras or dashcam to speak to us.
