Attempts are being made to find its owner
A two-metre long snake has been rescued from underneath a garden shed in Portsmouth.
An animal rescue specialist from Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service went to the home in Ranelagh Road, Stamshaw, after a call from police shortly after 12.30pm on Tuesday.
With the help of an RSPCA inspector, the shed was dismantled to free the corn snake.
It was taken to a specialist vet by the RSPCA whilst attempts were made to find the animal’s owner.
