Portsmouth sign winger from Wigan
Pompey have completed the signing of Wigan winger Anthony Scully for an undisclosed fee
The 24-year-old has put pen to paper on a two-year deal, with the club option of a further 12 months.
Blues boss John Mousinho said: “He’s a player with real experience of this level after enjoying a successful spell with Lincoln.
“He made a massive contribution in terms of goals and assists, which followed on from being one of the outstanding players for West Ham’s under-21 side.
“So it’s a really exciting signing for us to make and we’ve got someone who can hopefully make a huge impact here.
“We’re pleased with the transfer activity we’ve been able to do so far this summer, working with Rich and the recruitment team.
“A lot of these moves have been many months in the making and so it’s great to see all that hard work coming to fruition.
Scully progressed through the ranks at West Ham and turned professional with the East London club in 2016.
He then moved to Lincoln, making more than 100 appearances and scoring 37 goals, including at Accrington on his first start for the club.
The former Republic of Ireland under-21 international signed for Wigan on transfer deadline day last summer and featured for them in the Championship.
He becomes the Fratton Park side's fifth signing of the summer transfer window.
