Portsmouth: Cyclist seriously injured in collision outside train station
The man's injuries are not thought to be life-threatening
A cyclist has been seriously injured in a crash with a car in Southsea.
The man in his 50s was taken to hospital after the collision on Goldsmith Avenue outside the entrance to Fratton train station on Friday evening.
Police said they were called shortly after 7.30pm to a report of a collision at the pedestrian crossing.
The cyclist suffered injuries to his shoulder, collar bone and ribs.
An investigation into the circumstances of the crash is underway and police are appealing for witnesses.
