Police given extra time to question Ryde murder suspects

Police investigating the death of a man in Ryde have been given extra time to question three people arrested on suspicion of murder.
Officers and paramedics were called to reports of a stabbing in Park Road at 3.17am on Sunday morning (May 28th).
The victim, a 30-year-old man, was pronounced dead on his way to hospital.
His family have been informed and are being supported by officers.
A 27-year-old man from Sandown, 27-year-old man from Ryde and 24-year-old woman from Shanklin were detained following the incident.
All three remained in custody as of Sunday night, with officers given up to a further 32 hours to conduct interviews with them.
Officers are appealing for information, including possible CCTV or doorbell footage from those living nearby.
