Pedestrian seriously hurt after collision in Romsey

The woman, who is in her 50s, is not in a life threatening condition

A female pedestrian has been seriously injured after being hit on a main road in Romsey.

Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary were called to a collision on the A3090 Winchester Hill, near Chirk Place, at 7:43pm on Sunday.

It involved the woman, who is in her 50s, and a highway maintenance vehicle.

Her condition is not life-threatening.

Police are asking anyone who saw the collision, or has dashcam footage of it, to get in touch by calling 101, quoting reference 44240396790.
