Murder investigation launched after man stabbed to death in Netley

A murder investigation has been launched by police investigating the death of a man in Netley.

Officers say he was found with a stab wound in Station Road at 6.26pm yesterday evening (Wednesday 18th).

Police and paramedics tried to save the victim's life but were unable to do so.

His identity has not yet been publicly been revealed.

Officers want to hear from anyone who was in the Station Road area at the time of the incident.

Those who witnessed the incident itself, or recall seeing or hearing anything suspicious in the area at the time, are asked to contact Hampshire Police on 101 or online, quoting incident number 44240550396.

They would also like to hear from anyone with any footage which may assist in their investigation, whether that be dash cam, doorbell camera, mobile phone, or any other CCTV.
