Mother cat who adopted kitten looking for 'furever' home

A cat rescued by the RSPCA is now looking for a new home in Chichester.

Six-month-old Michelle was rescued along with her four kittens - Inky, Blinky, Pinky and Cylde - by the charity from a home with several other cats.

Fortunately RSPCA Mount Noddy in Chichester was able to find a foster home with their senior cattery care assistant for her to recover temporarily.

Whilst there, the RSPCA Godshill animal centre on the Isle of Wight sent over an appeal for any mother cats as they had a kitten whose mother was very sick and unable to care for her.

The kitten - Athena tabby and white closest to mum's head - was able to join the three male and one female kittens Michelle already had.

RSPCA Mount Noddy manager Susan Botherway said: “Michelle did a wonderful job caring for her kittens and Athena.

“They all thrived and were able to find a new home but now we’d also like to find one for Michelle as she has been through so much in her short life.”

The kittens, who are around four weeks old, were adopted by the site manager, and his family, who is working on the Big Build currently taking place at Mount Noddy.

Michelle is a friendly and confident cat, she loves attention and will need a family looking for a lap cat with lots of energy. If you think you can offer her a home please contact Mount Noddy for further information.
