Four more arrests made in Wimborne stabbing investigation
Dorset Police say their investigations are continuing
Another four people have been arrested in connection with the stabbing of a man in Wimborne.
The man, who's in his 50's, was found seriously injured in a house in Leigh Gardens on Sunday (26th February).
The latest arrests have seen an 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman, both from Wimborne, as well as a 35-year-old man from Fordingbridge in Hampshire questioned on suspicion of assisting an offender and released on police bail pending further enquiries.
A 38-year-old Wimborne woman has also been arrested on suspicion of attempting to pervert the course of justice.
An 18 year old man from Poole remains in custody on suspicion of attempted murder.
A 15-year-old boy and a 27-year-old man, both from the Wimborne area, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and released on police bail.
Detective Inspector Dave Horn, of Dorset County CID, said:
“This has been an extensive investigation as we carry out detailed enquiries into events of the evening of Sunday 26 February 2023.
“I am continuing to appeal for anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity or who may have captured anything of relevance on home CCTV, doorbell cameras or dashcams, to please get in touch with police.
“I would also urge residents in the area to please check their gardens for anything that could have been discarded.”
