Two men killed in light aircraft crash in West Sussex

Two men have died following a light aircraft crash in West Sussex.
The incident happened just north of Goodwood Airfield near Chichester at around 4.38pm yesterday afternoon (Wednesday 30th June).
Police say the victims were a 65-year-old from Balls Cross, near Petworth and a 58-year-old from Gosport.
Officers are providing support to their families.
The Air Accident Investigation Branch has been informed.
In a statement, Sussex Police said:
"Two men have sadly died following a light aircraft crash this afternoon (Wednesday 30 June).
"A 65-year-old from Bulls Cross and a 58-year-old from Gosport were tragically killed following the incident just north of Goodwood Airfield about 4.38pm.
"Officers are providing support to their families at this difficult time.
"The Air Accident Investigation Branch has been informed and we have no further information."
A spokesperson for West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service said:
"We were called to reports of an incident involving a light aircraft off New Road near Chichester at 4.38pm this afternoon (Wednesday 30th June).
"Joint Fire Control mobilised a crew from Chichester Fire Station along with the service's Technical Rescue Unit to the scene.
"Our crew booked away from the scene at 5.29pm, but members of the public are urged to avoid the area for the time being to allow emergency service staff to work safely."
