A man's been punched in the head and fallen to the ground during a robbery in Bournemouth.

The victim, in his 20s, was approached by three men in an alleyway in Old Christchurch Road at around 5.00am on Sunday (20th October).

He was pinned to the wall before being assaulted, and had money and a house key stolen.

A 32-year-old man from Bournemouth and a 28-year-old man from Poole have since been arrested on suspicion of robbery.

They've both been released on police bail as officers continue their investigation.

There's now an appeal to trace another man seen on CCTV in connection with what happened.

PC Naomi Bruce, of Bournemouth police, said:

“While we arrested two men in connection with this incident, we are still carrying out enquiries and we are issuing an image of a man we wish to identify.

“While I appreciate that the quality of the image isn’t the best, I would ask anyone who recognises him to contact us.

“Furthermore, I would like to hear from anyone who witnessed suspicious behaviour in the area of Old Christchurch Road as well as motorists driving in the area at the time of the robbery to please review their dashcam footage to see if they have captured anything of relevance.”

If you can help with any information, you're asked to contact Dorset Police on 101, quoting reference number 55240161571.

You can also call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
