Man charged after cow killed in New Forest collision

A man has been charged with drink-driving following a collision in the New Forest in which a cow died.

The collision took place on Roger Penny Way, near Telegraph Hill, at just before 9pm on Monday (Setpember 16th).

Forestry England confirmed the animal had to put to sleep after suffering serious injuries.

26-year-old Phelim O’Hara, of Wetherby Court in Totton, has been charged and bailed to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on November 12th.
