Man assaulted in Bournemouth road rage attack

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage to come forward following a road rage incident in Bournemouth.

At 6.40am on Sunday 7 May 2023 the victim, a man aged in his 40s, was driving along Wallisdown Road when the driver of a blue BMW 1 Series overtook him before sharply pulling in front of him, causing the victim to stop his car in the road.

The victim and driver of the BMW got out of their vehicles, and it is reported the suspect then pushed the victim before assaulting him.

Police Constable Karl Moores, of Bournemouth police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who either witnessed the incident, or was travelling along Wallisdown Road at the relevant time and may have captured something of relevance on dashcam, to please contact Dorset Police.”
