Bottled water stations will reopen on Monday after hundreds of homes in Winchester were left with little or no water.

It follows a problem at a treatment works in Easton on Friday.

Southern Water said most people were back on, but warned of interruptions to the supply as they work on a repair.

A spokesman said: "We do expect further periods of low pressure and possible loss of supply.

"These interruptions to service should be intermittent and may last until Tuesday.

Bottled water stations were opened at three locations:

Sainsburys Badger Farm Rd, SO22 4QB

East Winchester Park & Ride (St Catherines) Garnier Rd, SO23 9NP

Coach Park 45 Worthy Ln, SO23 7EL
