Further arrests after man stabbed to death in Netley

Police are continuing to investigate the death of a man in Netley and have now made 3 further arrests.

An 18-year-old man from Netley and an 18-year-old man from Eastleigh have both been arrested on suspicion of murder.

A 36-year-old woman from Southampton has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class B and possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

A 15-year-old boy from Netley, who was previously arrested in connection with the incident, has since been released from custody and no further action taken against him.

Officers say the victim was found with a stab wound in Station Road at 6.26pm on Wednesday the 18th.

Police and paramedics tried to save the victim's life but were unable to do so.

His identity has not yet been publicly been revealed.

Officers want to hear from anyone who was in the Station Road area at the time of the incident.

Those who witnessed the incident itself, or recall seeing or hearing anything suspicious in the area at the time, are asked to contact Hampshire Police on 101 or online, quoting incident number 44240550396.

They would also like to hear from anyone with any footage which may assist in their investigation, whether that be dash cam, doorbell camera, mobile phone, or any other CCTV.
