Flat destroyed by fire
A woman has been rescued from a fire in her third-floor flat in Southsea
Around 40 firefighters were called to the block on Queens Crescent shortly after 6pm on Tuesday.
Crews from Southsea, Cosham, Havant, Fareham, Hayling Island and Waterlooville were on the scene.
The flat has been destroyed while a number of other flats suffered water damage.
Meanwhile two casualties were passed into the care of South Central Ambulance Service paramedics in Winchester on Tuesday night.
Crews were called to a third floor flat on Rowlings Road at 19:47.
One casualty was also given emergency care by firefighters and paramedics in the New Forest.
Crews from Hardley, Beaulieu and Hythe were called to a cooking fire on Studley Avenue in Holbury shortly after 7pm.
