Election 2024: Full results for the South

Voters have been deciding who they want as their MP across Dorset, Hampshire, the Isle of Wight and West Sussex

Thousands of votes have been counted across the South after voters in Dorset, south Hampshire, the Isle of Wight and West Sussex went to the polls for the General Election on Thursday (July 4th).

Declarations have been taking place overnight to find out which MPs will be representing our areas at Westminster for the next five years.

Two cabinet ministers in the South have lost their seats overnight, with Leader of the Commons Penny Mordaunt defeated by Labour in Portsmouth North, while Education Secretary Gillian Keegan lost Chichester to the Liberal Democrats.

However, several key Tories, including Suella Braverman, Dame Caroline Dinenage and Caroline Nokes, won re-election.
