Cyclist seriously injured after fail-to-stop collision in Blackfield

Police are looking to trace the driver of the car involved

Police are looking to identify a driver involved in a fail-to-stop collision in Blackfield.

Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary were called to Hampton Lane, between Blackfield Primary School and the health centre, at 3:40pm on Friday.

A cyclist and a car were involved.

The cyclist, a 55-year-old woman from Fawley, suffered serious, but not life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the car did not remain at the scene.

Police are appealing for witnesses, people with information about the car, or footage of the car, to come forward.
