Cyclist seriously injured in Wareham crash
The rider had to be airlifted to hospital
A cyclist - a man in his 30s from Poole - has suffered serious injuries in a collision near Wareham.
It happened on Bere Road in Coldharbour, near to the Silent Woman pub, at around 7.45pm last night (Thursday 19th January).
A white Citroen Dispatch van, driven by a man in his 50s was also involved.
The cyclist had to be airlifted to hospital as a result of his injuries.
PC Tracey Downer, of the Dorset Police traffic unit, said:
“I am appealing for any witnesses to the collision who have not yet spoken with police to please come forward.
“I am also keen to hear from anyone who may have relevant dashcam footage that could assist our investigation.”
