Car wedged on crash barrier after "last minute" lane change
The collision near Southampton has prompted a warning from police
A car has ended up wedged on a crash barrier near Southampton after police said the motorist changed lanes at the last minute.
The collision happened on the Rownhams Interchange roundabout at junction 3 of the M27.
In a post on Twitter, Hampshire Roads Policing unit said: "If you're in the wrong lane, do not just move over at the last minute.
"Carry on to the next available SAFE location to turn around & continue with your journey. Accidents like this in #Southampton can be avoided."
