Thousands of people are descending on Weston Park as Camp Bestival Shropshire returns.
The family festival combines live music, children's entertainment and wellbeing activities and attracts people of all ages from across the country.
Kicking off today (16 August), the event will see the likes of Paloma Faith, Rick Astley, McFly and Faithless all performing.
For younger festival goers, there'll be performances and workshops from Mr Tumble, Dick and Dom, Mister Maker, and Horrible Histories.
It's the third year of Camp Bestival Shropshire at Weston Park.
Among Friday's performers are McFly - Harry Judd from the band said: “We’re very excited to be making our Camp Bestival debut this summer and experience unforgettable family festival fun in the grounds of Weston Park!”
Headliner Rick Astley added: “Really looking forward to performing at Camp Bestival, it’s become one of Britain's best events and I’m excited to be there!”
Organisers said lots of new activities have been added for the festival this year including freerunning, lifeguard classes and synchronised swimming - making use of Weston Park's lake and parkland.
Camp Bestival curator Rob da Bank said: "There is so much to choose from, whether you want to stand in front of the main stage listening to the pop acts or find some really cool, underground stuff out there.
"The theme for this year is time travel, so we're going to be going back in time to maybe prehistoric, cave men and even space.
"Weston Park is a riot of colour, so much going and so many new bits. We've got a new area called navigation town made out of old caravans and fairground rides. That's specially aimed at kids to learn about arts and crafts and doing things, getting off screens and back to nature."
