Arrest after man seriously injured in Walsall collision
It happened on Birmingham Road in the early hours.
Police are investigating after a man was seriously injured in a collision in Walsall in the early hours of this morning (8 June).
A VW Polo collided with another car near the Bell Inn on Birmingham Road, near the junction with Walstead Road, at around 4.20am.
A man, aged 23, who was a passenger in the Polo was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A 23-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of drink or drug driving and remains in custody.
Officers remain at the scene carrying out enquiries and drivers are urged to avoid the area.
