The A49 at Bayston Hill has reopened after a collision.

Temporary traffic lights are operating in the area after a lorry collided with two buildings this morning (11th Nov).

Shropshire Fire and Rescue were called at around 5.29am about a report of a road traffic collision.

One casualty had to be released from a vehicle using Fire Service personnel cutting equipment.

The A49 was then blocked for the majority of the day due to emergency service vehicles.
