Published 25th Aug 2017

August has been quite the month for new music with Avicii making a return after retiring from live performances last year, and Taylor Swift dropping 'Look What You Made Me Do'. Both Taylor Swift and Avicii are on this week's playlist as well as tunes from marshmello and Lauv. Find out more about the new tracks below.

Taylor Swift - 'Look What You Made Me Do'

After a week filled with snake teasers, Taylor Swift is back with new music and a new album announcement. 'Look What You Made Me Do' is the new single from her upcoming sixth album, 'Reputation'.

Earlier in the week Taylor had deleted everything from her social media profiles and then uploaded videos that formed a snake. Check out the lyric video which dropped in the early hours of this morning (25th August) below:

Avicii featuring Sandro Cavazza - 'Without You'

When Avicii decided to retire from touring and make new music he took a ten day road trip across the US with artists and friends. The trip took him from California, across to the Grand Canyon and down to the sunshine state, Florida. For the 27-year-old it was a transformational journey and the first track to come out of his experience was 'Without You' with Sandro Cavazza, a Swedish songwriter.

marshmello - 'Silence ft Khalid'

Electronic dance DJ marshmello has joined forces with American songwriter Khalid on his latest offering 'Silence'. 'Silence' dropped earlier this week and will be joining our playlist.

Lauv - 'I Like Me Better'

American singer Lauv dropped his single 'I Like Me Better' earlier this year and now it's joining our playlist on Hits Radio. Lauv also wrote two songs that we are currently playing, Charlie XCX's 'Boys' and Cheat Codes/Demi Lovato's 'No Promises'.

You can hear all these tunes throughout the week on Hits Radio on air, online and on DAB in selected areas.
