Evidence of cannabis growth found in Didcot's abandoned Wilkinson's store

Two men have been arrested in connection to the incident.

Two men have been arrested after police found evidence of cannabis being grown in the abandoned Wilkinson's shop in Didcot Town Centre.

They remain in custody.

The Wilko shop in Market Place, next to the train station, shut back in September 2023.

Thames Valley Police South Oxon and Vale of White Horse posted on Facebook: "Officers are on scene in Market Place, Didcot at the abandoned Wilkinson's shop.

"We have found evidence of cannabis being grown in the building.

"2 men arrested in connection.

"They remain in custody at this time.

"We thank members of the public for their patience."
