Theme at an Oxford market set to expand

It involves showcasing local artists and makers

Gloucester Green Market have announced that due to growing popularity the monthly 'Art Fridays' initiative will now be held weekly.

Artists, makers, and cultural organisations can apply for a free stall to run every Friday, with a pop-up canopy and table provided.

Art Fridays quickly became a favourite fixture at Gloucester Green Market, providing a platform for local creatives to showcase their talents.

Siobhan Noake of operators LSD Promotions says:

“We are incredibly excited to expand Art Fridays to a weekly format. The community response has been phenomenal, and we’re thrilled to provide even more opportunities for local artists and makers to share their work and connect with the public.”

The outdoor market continues to run on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays as well.

Starting out in 1989, the company run a range of events along with different market sites.
