Second man charged over attempted murder in Oxford

It's after an incident in March which saw a man in his forties hospitalised.

A second man has been charged in connection with an attempted murder in Oxford

Back in March a man in his forties was assaulted and suffered serious injuries but has since been discharged from hospital.

2\4 year old Shahroz Ali Khan, of Mortimer Road, in Oxford is the second person to be charged with conspiracy to commit murder.

Another man Hassan Hussain, also 24, and of Nye Bevan Close, was previously charged in connection with the attempted murder and was remanded in custody awaiting a trial date to be set.

The charges relate to an incident in the evening of 13th March in Manzil Way.

Thames Valley Police say Khan is due to appear before Oxford Magistrates’ Court today.
