Road rage hit and run sees van overturned in Oxfordshire

A man in his 30s has luckily avoided injury after a road rage incident in Oxfordshire which saw his van overturned on the road.

It happened at approximately 5.45pm yesterday, Sunday 8th September, after an apparent incident of road rage according to police involving two vehicles.

The incident happened on the northbound carriageway between Milton and Marcham, and the vehicles were then involved in a collision where one van ended up upside down on the carriageway, while the other vehicle did not stop at the scene.

The victim was driving a white Renault Master van, while the vehicle that did not stop at the scene is described as a white van.

The victim, a man aged in his thirties, was not injured in the collision.

Investigating officer PC Debbie Green of the Roads Policing Unit, said: “This collision happened after an incident of road rage on the northbound section of the A34 between Milton and Marcham.

“I am appealing to anybody who witnessed the initial altercation, or the collision that subsequently occurred, to please contact Thames Valley Police.

“If you were driving on the A34 yesterday at the time of the incident, I would ask you to please check your dash-cams and contact us if it has captured either the initial incident, or the collision."
