River levels are rising on the River Thames and the watercourses around Oxford, including the Bulstake Stream, Hinksey Lake and the River Cherwell as a result of heavy rainfall and ground saturation.

Temporary flood protection measures are in place around some parts in the city, with barriers and pump systems in place should the situation deteriorate further.

Signage is being installed ahead of closed routes.

Seacourt Park & Ride has been temporarily closed due to flooding and sandbags are being made available to properties at imminent risk of flooding at specific locations.
