And an Oxfordshire Farm has been recognised as England’s fastest growing farm attraction according to Visit England.

A survey by VisitEngland revealed that Fairytale Farm in Chipping Norton saw a 130% increase in visitor numbers from 2019 to 2023.

Fairytale Farm also led the way in the last 12 months, with a 74% increase in visitor numbers between 2022 and 2023.

Nick Laister, owner of Fairytale Farm, expressed his delight at the figures:

“We are absolutely thrilled with the new data from VisitEngland, published last month. I think this has been partly down to the new investments that we have made in the site."

In 2023, at a cost of £250,000 the Fairy Dell development opened, a new area featuring giant toadstools for visitors to explore.

Nick adds "We are particularly proud that this development is inclusive, with high-level walkways accessible to wheelchair users."

Additionally, Fairytale Farm invested over £100,000 in their Dino Valley area, introducing new dinosaurs, including one that rises from a pond and surprises visitors with a splash of water.

Nick believes their success is a testament to their team, with highlight staff as a key part of their experience.

In July, Fairytale Farm received a Travellers’ Choice Award from TripAdvisor, placing it among the top 10% of attractions worldwide based on reviews and ratings collected over the past year.
