Oxford United start pre-season with win over City rivals

Oxford United began their preparations for their upcoming season in the Championship with a 3-0 win over Oxford City.
New signing Louie Sibley scored the opening goal in the 11th minute, before Will Goodwin netted in the first half.
Cameron Brannagan scored the U's third goal in the second half.
2,062 fans watched the game at Court Place Farm, ahead of the U's first season in the second-tier of English football since 1999.
Oxford United play Solihull Moors at 1pm on Saturday, with further pre-season games against Exeter City, Mansfield Town, Southampton and Palemro.
The U's first game in the Championship is against Norwich City at the Kassam Stadium on Saturday 10 August.
Oxford City have further pre-season matches scheduled against Sutton United and Braintree Town.
The Hoops' opening game in the National League North - English football's sixth-tier - is away at Marine on Saturday 10 August.
