The chain has a number of restaurants across England and recently announced on their social media that kids will eat free with every paying adult.

The restaurant chain was formed by a group of Sri Lankan friends and family brought together by a vision of bringing Sri Lankan eats to communities across the world.

The restaurant first opened in Cheltenham in 2016, when the group renovated an old pub.

But after a successful start they quickly branched out and opened The Coconut Tree on St Clements Street in Oxford.

Co-founder and operations director Rashintha Rodrigo said: "Family has always been a big deal looking after each other.

"In Sri Lanka we always have space for another person, we always lay an extra plate.

"People from Sri Lanka are very hospitable, we're big feeders.

"When it's half term people are always looking for things to do together as a family, so that's why we did it to bring family together.

Not only is it great value for families looking to spend time together this half term, but it also presents the perfect opportunity for children to try new foods at no extra cost.
